Garlic Bread Dipped in Pesto

Garlic Bread PestoSince I can’t seem to shake this “end of Winter”cold, I am making more and more recipes that include garlic, something I already absolutely love.  I had leftover Pesto from my Tomato Melts so I made quick Garlic Bread using the same ingredients and it was a really nice, comforting snack.  You can make Garlic Bread however you wish- using Garlic Cloves, Garlic butter… the list goes on.  This was just what I did while being sick which, to be honest, caused me to take the lazier route.

Ingredients

Slices of your favorite Bread

Butter

1/2 Tsp Garlic Salt

Pinch of Dried Basil

Sea Salt & Fresh Ground Pepper Pepper

Drizzle of Olive Oil

Pesto for Dipping

Instructions

Butter your favorite bread, add the garlic salt, Basil, Salt, Pepper, add a drizzle of Olive Oil on top and place the slices on a Baking Tray.  You can also add shredded cheese on top if you would like cheesy garlic bread!  Place on the top oven rack with the Broiler set to High.  Keep your eyes on it and once you see the butter melting and sizzling, remove from the oven.

Dip in the chilled pesto and enjoy!

Told you it was simple 😉
