1(5 inch) brie round
1⁄4cup brown sugar
1-2 Tbsp of softened butter
1⁄4cup walnuts, pecans, or almonds- chopped, optional
Sliced French bread
Preheat oven to 325.
Put brie in baking dish or on lined baking sheet
Using a knife, make a criss-cross pattern on the top rind. Spread the 2 tbsp of softened butter on top and then sprinkle about 1/4 cup of brown sugar over the brie. You can also spread some honey on top- it depends on how sweet you enjoy it.
Add a few walnuts, almonds, chopped pecans, if desired.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Serve with sliced french bread, grapes and apples.
